Rockin' Girl Blogger

Claudia over at La Vida Claudia has surprised me with this:

Principally because I had the good sense to flee the Rat Race
So that previous post was timely indeed!

Thank you Claudia, from one escapee to another

And now to chose five people from then ever-growing list of inspiring, amusing and downright amazing people that I've discovered since I started blogging

1. Zoomie over here for joie de vivre, pictures of aubergines and having the great sense to live in a 'small house with a big view'

2. Marja-Leena over here because she inspires me often and distracts me daily. And for the simple fact that she has the great sense to be part Canadian and part Finnish!

3. Loretta (Mrs Pom) who lives here for her creativity, common sense and fabulous posts

4. Samantha at this place nearby because I feel like she's my younger big sister, she corrects my French and she rocks

5. Jennifer here in France for company, empathy and in the hope that we will meet when I have finally finished the spare room

Thanks guys

Lots of lovely thoughts here, and I was so happy to find you, being someone who has also renounced the rat race, but who has headed for the wild Lanark Highlands rather than France. Enjoy the Mindful Blog button!

Oh wow, thanks! I really enjoy reading your blog as well - your posts are always so thoughtful, and a lot *deeper* than many other blogs out there (mine included).

Oh! Thanks for the honour! I'm tickled that my Finnishness (100%) and Canadianness (proud citizen) counts for so much :-)

Samantha, Marja-Leena, you are both most welcome and I am pleased, finally to have the opportunity to send something to show my appreciation for your writing.

Marja-Leena 100% Finnish. Fabulous!
I am just working up to starting your country's epic poem. I expect to finish it (no pun intended) by 2020, perhaps!

Samantha. Not always deep, sometimes I paddle in the shallow pools of self-pity!But thank you
